Free Music in the Gardens 2014 concerts series line-up announced

The City of Kingston is pleased to present 2014's Music in the Gardens series in partnership with the Music Performers Fund. Beginning June 25, Music in the Gardens offers free live concerts all summer at the Lions Civic Gardens on Gardiners Road (beside the Cataraqui Town Centre).
Campfire Liars Club – with Paul Langlois, Greg Ball, Jim Tidman, and Jeff Montgomery with special guest Gord Sinclair – is presented by the Skeleton Park Arts Festival and will launch Music in the Gardens on June 25 from 7 to 8pm, with the first in the series of Wednesday evening shows. Running June 25 through August 27, this hour long, evening series welcomes A Medley of Music talent to make the most of your mid-week.
The Sunday Concert Series, presented by The Royale Kingston Retirement Residence and Trillium Ridge Retirement Community, begins July 6 with Big Phat Horn Band and runs through to August 24, 7-8pm. With a focus on Jazz, Blues, and Big Bands, the series is sure to end your weekend in style.
Bring your lawn chair and a picnic and park for free in the Cataraqui Town Centre parking lot. An accessible drop off area is available at the top of the park, using the road behind Isabel Turner Library, 935 Gardiners Rd.
The Music in the Gardens Series is made possible thanks to the City of Kingston, the Music Performers Fund (MPF), and the generosity of The Royale Kingston Retirement Residence, Trillium Ridge Retirement Community and Raymond James Ltd.
