Friday Traffic Report

Please see below for a list of road construction projects and events that are expected to have an impact on traffic flow next week; including an advisory received from Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC) for the La Salle Causeway.

The intersection of Princess St. and Macdonnell St. is closed until the end of April as part of the Williamsville Reconstruction project. For more information see www.cityofkingston.ca/Williamsville.
Princess St. is also closed from Macdonnell St. to Tower St. until late June. Businesses and medical offices are still accessible.
Barbara St. is also closed from Division St. to Alfred Cres. until late July.
Palace Rd. is also closed from Carruthers. to Park St. beginning until mid-May.
Division St. will experience delays at Barbara Ave. until late April.
Princess St. will experience delays between Bath Rd. and Regent St. until the end of April while Bell Canada upgrades infrastructure in advance of the Williamsville reconstruction project.
The following streets will be closed to accommodate set-up, filming and tear-down of a production:
- Market Street is closed between Ontario St. and King St. until Tuesday, April 15 at 11:00 p.m.
- King Street will be closed between Brock St. and Earl St. beginning Saturday, April 12 from 6:00 a.m. to Tuesday, April 15 at 11:00 p.m.
La Salle Causeway:
Public Works and Government Service Canada have advised of the following delays on the La Salle Causeway:
- Power washing will take place and traffic will be down to one lane beginning Monday, April 14 at 10 p.m. until Tuesday, April 15 at 6 a.m.
- Test lifts will result in intermittent closures on Tuesday, April 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
