Friday Traffic Report

Please see below for a list of road construction projects and events expected to have an impact on traffic flow next week.

Williamsville Construction Street Closures and Delays

  • Albert Street will be closed between Mack and Princess until late October.
  • Princess Street is closed from Drayton to Regent until late September.
  • Princess Street will also experience delays from Concession to Regent until late October.
  • Businesses and medical offices remain open and accessible. For more information see www.CityofKingston.ca/Williamsville.

Other Road Closures

  • George Street will be closed from Okill to King beginning Tuesday, Sept. 16 until late September.
  • Frontenac Street will be closed from Jenkins to York beginning Tuesday, Sept. 16 until late October.

Other Delays

  • Front Road will experience delays in the vicinity of the bridge until late November while crews undertake bridge work.
  • Rideau Street may experience intermittent delays east of Montreal to River next week while Utilities Kingston crews conduct overhead pole work for Kingston Hydro.
  • Queen Street may experience intermittent delays between Bagot and Wellington next week while Utilities Kingston crews conduct electrical vault work for Kingston Hydro.
  • Union Street may experience intermittent delays between Sir John A. Macdonald and Mowat next week while Utilities Kingston crews conduct overhead pole work for Kingston Hydro.
  • Barrack Street may experience intermittent delays between Bagot and King while Utilities Kingston crews conduct overhead line work and install a new transformer for Kingston Hydro.
  • Wellington Street may experience intermittent delays between Queen and Barrack while Utilities Kingston crews conduct overhead line work and remove an ageing transformer for Kingston Hydro.

Event Closures

  • Princess Street will be closed from Division to Ontario on Saturday, Sept 20 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
