Friday Traffic Report

November 7, 2014 -

Please see below for a list of road construction projects and events expected to have an impact on traffic flow next week.

For updates on Highway 401 construction visit the Ministry of Transportation's website at www.roadinfo.mto.gov.on.ca or call 5-1-1.

Other Road Closures:

  • George Street will be closed from Okill to Stuart beginning until mid-November.

Other Delays:

  • Front Road will experience delays in the vicinity of the bridge until late November while crews undertake bridge work.
  • Delays can be expected at the intersection of Highway 15 and Grenadier until late November while crews improve the intersection. 
  • Delays can also be expected at the intersection of Highway 15 and Barrett Court until late November while crews improve the intersection. 

Event Closures:

Ontario Street will be closed between Gore and Lower Union on Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the Naval Remembrance Day Ceremony Service.

King Street will be closed between Barrie and Lower University on Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 8:15 a.m. to 12 noon for the Civic Service of Remembrance & Wreath Laying Ceremonies.

Bagot Street will be closed between West and Barrie on Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 10 to 12 noon for the Civic Service of Remembrance & Wreath Laying Ceremonies.

King Street will be closed from the Tragically Hip Way to Place d'Armes on Saturday, Nov. 15 for the Brad Paisley Show and on Monday, Nov. 17 for the Junior Hockey Subway Super Series.
