Get an update on ideas for Belle Park at information session
August 10, 2017 -
See the summary of the Belle Park Ideas survey and talk to City of Kingston staff at a public information session 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 (presentation at 6:15 p.m.) at the INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.
"See what we are hearing from the public about future opportunities for Belle Park before we complete our report on these ideas that will go before council this fall," says Adam McCluskey, manager, recreation facilities.
The recent online Belle Park Ideas survey asked participants for input on ideas for how to use the park collected during public sessions in May and June.
Last year, the Belle Park Working Group recommended the City explore options to reduce, modify or eliminate golf at the park and encourage other recreational uses and/or naturalize some areas of the riverside park at 731 Montreal St.
