What: On Wednesday, May 3rd from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Community Response to Neighbourhood Concerns (CRNC) will be hosting the Grand Opening of the Shannon Park Skate Park.

There will be live music, a skateboard demo and barbeque.

Robert Burge, an Ontario Trillium Foundation volunteer, will attend the celebrations and will formally present CRNC with a plaque to mark the work done as a result of receiving a Community Investment grant from the Foundation in March 2013.

Mayor Paterson, Gillian Moss, CRNC board Chair and a few of the donors will be talking about the new skate park and its expected impact in the community.
