Have Snow Much Fun in the Square on December 8

November 20, 2017 -

Get in the spirit of the Holidays at Snow Much Fun! The free event offers family fun for all ages on Friday, Dec. 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Springer Market Square.

"Snow Much Fun is a wonderful way to experience the magic of the holidays. Skating on an outdoor rink, the sweet smell of apple cider and wood fires wafting through the air, Santa and his workshop and our holiday market are just some of the delights that await our visitors," says Sue Hitchcock, assistant supervisor, recreation programs.

Plan to enjoy these free activities:

  • Step inside a life-sized snow globe for a wintry photo
  • Groove to our DJ's seasonal rhythms
  • Try kids crafts in Santa's Workshop
  • Enjoy storytelling with Mayor Bryan Paterson at 7 p.m.
  • Shop the holiday market
  • Visit Santa Claus
  • Enjoy demonstration by Kingston Synchronized Skating at 7:45 p.m. (weather-permitting)
  • Ride on the Trolley with Kingston Trolley Tours
  • Skate with your family and friends (weather-permitting)
  • Warm your hands by the fire pits

Unwrapped toys will be accepted for donation to the Kingston Toy Drive.
