Help name the City's new mobile waste diversion station
July 27, 2017 -
What's big and green and diverts event waste from landfill? Answer: the City of Kingston's new mobile waste diversion station! The mobile station will be used at events to collect recycling and organic waste so that it can be diverted from landfill…but it needs a better name.
"We want something snappier than ‘waste diversion station' that can draw attention to the station so that people will look for it at events," says Heather Roberts, manager solid waste. She notes that the station will soon be able to be booked for events in much the same way as Utilities Kingston's Water Buggy.
Go to www.CityofKingston.ca/GetInvolved to choose one of these names by Friday, Aug. 4:

- Other – offer your own suggestion!
Stay tuned for details on how to book the new mobile waste diversion station (coming soon)!
