Here come the sheep!

July 28, 2016 –

When: 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1

Where: Grass Creek Park, 2991 Highway 2 E.

Who: Trials organizer Amanda Milliken and 350 sheep.

What: The arrival of the first 350 Waupoos Island Sheep at Grass Creek Park. The sheep are the co-stars of the Kingston Sheep Dog Trials – the largest event of its kind in North America – on from Aug. 5 to 7.  They need to be brought in while it is cooler, so the first half will be brought at 8 a.m. and another 350 will be brought in the evening.
