Join the City and Desjardins Insurance to celebrate naming rights agreement with free public skate on newly re-named ice pad

The City of Kingston and Desjardins Insurance invite residents to celebrate the naming of the Desjardins Insurance Rink with a free public skate, ice dancing demonstration and light refreshments at the official ribbon cutting event from 3-4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23.
The ice pad naming agreement with Desjardins Insurance will see the City get $35,000 over the next five years. Support from the agreement assists in advancing the Council strategic priority to foster healthy citizens and vibrant spaces.
"I'm delighted that Desjardins Insurance is partnering with the City for the naming rights for the INVISTA Centre ice pads," says Mayor Bryan Paterson. "These rinks are vital community spaces that host hockey tournaments, skating competitions and community skates, where kids and adults alike can stay active and have fun for years to come!"
