Kingston City Council Meeting Location Change

December 14, 2012

December 18 Meeting to be Held in City Hall's Memorial Hall

The regular scheduled meeting of Kingston City Council on Tuesday, December 18 will be held in Memorial Hall, in City Hall, while Council Chambers continue to undergo technology upgrades.

"This meeting is the third of five to be held outside of council chambers while upgrades are being made," said Mayor Mark Gerretsen. "Holding our meetings outside of the regular meeting location has given us a great opportunity to engage local community partners and members of the public."

In the New Year regular meetings of Council will be hosted by St. Lawrence College on January 8 and the Royal Military College on January 22.

City Council encourages residents to attend the meeting held in Memorial Hall, located on the second floor of City Hall, 216 Ontario Street. The meeting will start at its regular time of 7:30 p.m., a closed session of council will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Cogeco will broadcast the meeting on TVCOGECO, Cogeco cable channels 13 and 700 (HD).
