Kingston Fire & Rescue collects $23,000 to help fight Muscular Dystrophy

Volunteers from Kingston Fire & Rescue have collected $23,000 in donations during their August Boot Drive in support of Muscular Dystrophy (MD) Canada.
"My congratulations to all KFR members who have supported this long-term charity steeped in our tradition of service," says Fire Chief Shawn Armstrong.
The funds were collected at the Walmart store on Midland Avenue.
Canadian firefighters have long supported MD Canada and raise more than $3 million for it annually.
