Kingston Fire & Rescue lifts burn ban

A ban on open air burning has come to an end according to Kingston Fire & Rescue.

The ban was put in place earlier this week following a smog advisory issued by the Ministry of the Environment.

The smog advisory was lifted yesterday evening for the Kingston region allowing Kingston Fire & Rescue to end their ban on open air burning as well.

All regular conditions on open air burning in Kingston remain in place.
