Kingston residents are invited to "Pay What You Want" at the Grand Theatre's 3, 2, 1 Dance! event

Grand OnStage invites the public to experience an evening of contemporary dance by some of Ontario's most prominent dancers and choreographers at 3, 2, 1 Dance! on Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Kingston's Grand Theatre. This "Pay What You Want" (PWYW), event is presented by the City of Kingston to encourage residents to sample a cultural event out of their comfort zone with little to no financial risk.  Grand OnStage offers at least one program a year to be a Pay What You Want event to encourage accessibility and engagement at Kingston's Grand Theatre.

It's easy to participate in PWYW and everyone is invited to attend the show. Here's how:

  1. Go to the box office on the day of the show and ask for PWYW tickets to 3, 2, 1 Dance!.
  2. Receive an envelope with tickets in a designated section, a pencil with a reviewer's comment card.
  3. Enjoy the show, then after the show
  4. Complete the comment card, and deposit ANY amount into the envelope (cash, credit, cheque), whatever you feel the experience was worth.
  5. Seal the envelope and drop it off anonymously with an usher on your way out.

3, 2, 1 Dance! invites audiences to engage, experience and embrace this eclectic program featuring signature solo, duet and trio works from some of Ontario's finest artists  and choreographers. Offering an array of world touring works of contemporary dance, this night of cutting-edge dance has something to delight everyone.

The show begins in the Regina Rosen Auditorium at the Grand Theatre on Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
