Kingston Transit is hiring 10 bus operators

Kingston Transit is hiring 10 Bus Operators to become part of its team to deliver its expanding Express service.  An information session will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on October 9 and 10 at Kingston Transit's Operations Centre, 1181 John Counter Blvd.

"If you have great people skills, are customer-friendly and have a safe driving record, please come and see us. Kingston Transit will train you and help you upgrade your licence," says Jeremy DaCosta, Manager of Kingston Transit.

Kingston Transit is planning to continue to expand its Express service, so now is a great time to start a career as a Bus Operator.

Those interested are encouraged to go to the bus operator recruitment page to take the Bus Operator Recruitment Self-Quiz and complete an application. The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 18.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of experience working in a customer service occupation.
  • A valid G licence* with at least five years driving experience.

*Selected applicants will be trained to be upgraded from a G to a CZ licence.
