UPDATED: See site plans and learn about proposed improvements to Woodbine Park at an information session from 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Lancaster Drive Public School, 1020 Lancaster Dr. Staff will be on hand at for an informal Q&A session from 6-7 p.m. and a presentation will take place at 7 p.m.
"We have heard resident concerns about parking, parking safety and dust and have some site improvements we would like to show those who use the park and, particularly, the sports fields, " says Neal Unsworth, manager, parks development.
Work to complete the improvements would occur in the spring with the goal of minimizing disruption to users of the park during this year's sports field season.
Proposed improvements to the park include:
- Expanded parking area
- Pathway improvements
- Roadway improvements
- Expanded Volleyball area
