Maintenance and updates planned for INVISTA Centre during annual facility closure

June 11, 2019 -

The fitness and wellness centre, meeting rooms and ice rinks at the INVISTA Centre will be closed from Monday, June 17 to Sunday, June 23 for planned maintenance and updates.

The ice in the facility's four rinks will remain out until July 8 for extended maintenance and programming, including hosting the 2019 Pickleball Canada National Tournament from June 27-30.

During the facility maintenance, the reception desk will be open daily, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to accept program registrations and recreation facility bookings.

Built to enable residents to lead healthy, active, fun lives – and fostering healthy citizens remains a City priority – the INVISTA Centre has a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification, four 85' x 200' rinks, a fitness and wellness centre and four Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations
