null Mayor invites community to New Year's Levee

December 3, 2018 -

Kingston residents are invited to start the new year by coming out to meet Mayor Bryan Paterson, city councillors, Ian Arthur, Member of Provincial Parliament and Mark Gerretsen, Member of Federal Parliament at the annual New Year's Levee.

The 2019 New Year's Levee will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, in Memorial Hall, City Hall, 216 Ontario St.

"The New Year's Levee is a time-honoured tradition here in Kingston. It's a great opportunity for residents to chat with their local representatives," says Mayor Paterson. "I look forward to welcoming Kingstonians to City Hall January 1st as we head into a new council term and a new year!"

The event will also feature a New Year's welcome from the Town Crier and a poem from the City's Poet Laureate, Jason Heroux.
