Notice - Neighbours of the Hanson Parking Garage

August 23, 2016 -

Rehabilitation Work on Hanson Garage to Begin in late August.

Work to restore and repair the Hanson Parking Garage on Brock Street will begin in late August or early September.  The project, contracted to Heritage Restoration Inc., is expected to last until late November 2016, and then after a winter break, re-start in spring 2017.

In November and December, T.A. Andre and Sons will be installing safety barriers around the perimeter of the facility.

The garage will remain open most of the time, however, up to 120 parking spaces will be out of commission at any one time.  There is a planned closure of the full facility after Thanksgiving for approximately 4 weeks. This is due to repairs which will completely obstruct the entry, exit or interior travel ramps.

Unfortunately, noise and dust are unavoidable with this type of construction, however Heritage Restoration has committed to minimizing the disruption as much as possible.

We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience during this time.

Please note that dates are subject to change.

Alternate hourly parking is available at the Robert Bruce Garage on Bagot Street at Brock Street, or alternatively the Chown garage further up Brock Street.
