null Notice of Intention to declare surplus and dispose of municipal property
December 1, 2015 -
Pursuant to the City's public notice policy and the disposition of real property policy take notice that the council of the corporation of the City of Kingston intends to declare surplus and dispose of the following municipal property:
Lands affected: Part Lot 11, Concession 3, City of Kingston, County of Frontenac, more particularly described as Part 1 on Registered Plan 13R-21194, being approximately 150 meters in area and located on the south side of Cataraqui Woods Drive between Clyde Court and Centennial Drive.
Explanatory note: This property is currently a vacant area of land located adjacent to the City's storm water management pond on the south side of Cataraqui Woods Drive. The intended use of the land is for a district gas regulator station. Once declared surplus, the lands are proposed to be sold at fair market value.
City council will consider this matter on Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Kingston. Plans showing the affected lands are available for review at the address noted below during regular business hours.
Anyone wishing to be heard regarding these matters should contact the clerk's office or provide written comments before 4:30 p.m., Dec. 11.
In the event that the matter is deferred, no further public notice will be given.
