null Notice of intention to declare surplus and dispose of municipal property
June 6, 2017 -
Pursuant to the City's Public Notice Policy and the Disposition of Real Property Policy take notice that the council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston intends to declare surplus and dispose of the following municipal property:
Lands affected: Part Lots 17 and 18, Concession 5, as in FR544547, subject to and together with FR544547, in the City of Kingston, County of Frontenac, municipally described as 3891 Kingston Road15.
Explanatory note: This property was purchased by the former Pittsburgh Township for use by the public works and fire departments. Its use for such purposes has been discontinued. The property is located on the south side of Kingston Road 15, south of the intersection at Joyceville Road. It is approximately 7.0 acres with a frontage of 120 metres.
City council will consider a motion to declare the property surplus on June 20, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Ontario St., Kingston.
Anyone wishing to be heard regarding these matters should contact the clerk's office or provide written comments before 4:30 p.m., June 19, 2017.
In the event that the matter is deferred, no further public notice will be given.
