Pursuant to the City's Public Notice Policy and the Disposition of Real Property Policy take notice that the council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston intends to declare surplus and dispose of the following municipal property:
Lands affected: Part of the south half of Lot 1, Plan 68 being all of PIN 36058 0289 and subject to a right of way in favour of the Limestone District School Board.
The parcel is located on the north side of MacCauley Street at the end of Daly Street. It is immediately east of the Rideau Heights Public School located at 77 MacCauley St.
Explanatory note: This parcel is currently used by the Limestone District School Board for parking. The parcel is proposed to be transferred to the Limestone District School Board to assist with zoning compliance in the construction of the new Rideau Heights Community Centre.
City council will consider this matter on February 17, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kingston. Plans showing the affected lands are available for review at the address noted below during regular business hours.
Anyone wishing to be heard regarding these matters should contact the clerk's office or provide written comments before 4:30 p.m., February 13.
In the event that the matter is deferred, no further public notice will be given.
