Notice of intention to declare surplus and transfer municipal property to employment land inventory

April 21, 2015 -

Pursuant to the City's Public Notice Policy and the industrial land sales policy take notice that the council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston intends to declare surplus and transfer to employment land inventory the following municipal property:

Lands affected: Part Lot 22, Concession 3, City of Kingston shown as parts 4, 5, 6 on survey map 13R 8819, being part of PINS 36063-0021 and 36063-0108

The parcel is located on the south- west side of Dalton Avenue, known civically as 292 Dalton Ave.

Explanatory note: This parcel is located in the east side of Clyde Industrial Park and is currently vacant. The parcel was reserved for a fire station and is proposed to be transferred to employment lands inventory.

City council will consider this matter on May 5, at 7:30 p.m. at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kingston. Plans showing the affected lands are available for review at the address noted below during regular business hours.

Anyone wishing to be heard regarding these matters should contact the clerk's office or provide written comments before 4:30 p.m., May 1.

In the event that the matter is deferred, no further public notice will be given.
