Notice of intention to pass a bylaw to rename Douglas Avenue (southern portion) to Newton Place

March 24, 2015 -

Pursuant to the City's public notice policy, take notice that the council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston intends to consider renaming the public road located directly north of Kirkpatrick Street and south of Champlain Park, near Kingscourt Avenue, from Douglas Avenue (southern portion) to Newton Place as shown on Plan 905.

City council will consider this matter at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 216 Ontario St.

Anyone wishing to be heard regarding this matter should contact John Bolognone, city clerk at 613-546-4291 ext. 1247 or provide written comments to the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 216 Ontario St., Kingston, ON K7L 2Z3 before 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 2.
