Notice of Intention to Stop Up, Close, Declare Surplus and Dispose of Municipal Property

September 17, 2013 -

PURSUANT TO the City's Public Notice Policy take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston intends to consider the following actions with regard to municipal property:

  1. To stop up, close, declare surplus and dispose of the portion of the road allowance north of Pauline Tom Avenue known as Reginald Bart Drive on Registered Plan 13M-85, City of Kingston, now more particularly described as Parts 22, 23, 24, 41 and 43 of a draft Reference Plan prepared by Leslie M. Higginson Surveying Limited and dated April 4, 2013.

City Council will consider these matters on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kingston. Location maps are available for review at the address noted below during regular business hours.

Anyone wishing to be heard regarding these matters should contact the City Clerk or provide written comments before 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.

In the event that the matter is deferred, no further public notice will be given.
