Oct. 30 is deadline for Access Award nominations

You have until Friday, Oct. 30 to nominate a worthy person or organization for an Access Award.
Do you know a person or an organization that is making Kingston more accessible?
Offered by the City, in partnership with the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee the International Day of Persons with Disabilities Access Award recognizes a person, group or organization that has made or is making a significant contribution towards improving access for persons with disabilities in Kingston.
The winner is announced at a ceremony every year on Dec. 3 – the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Last year's Access Award winner was Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs.
Nomination forms and detailed criteria are available at www.CityofKingston.ca/accessaward and must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30:
