May 14, 2019 -
The City is seeking online input as it conducts a review of early years and child care programs and services operating in Kingston and Frontenac.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to complete the 15-minute survey at GetInvolved.CityofKingston.ca by May 30. Participants will be eligible for chance to win a prize.
"This is an in-depth survey that will offer us invaluable information to ensure early years and child care services are delivered in the most efficient way possible to meet the developmental needs of young children – as well as the needs of their parents or caregivers," says Ruth Noordegraaf, manager, housing & child care. She encourages participants to share the link to the survey with other families and friends.
Your input will provide direction for early years and child care programming in Kingston and Frontenac.
The provincial government requires the City establish a child care and early years programs and service plan for the service area of Kingston and Frontenac. As the child care and early years' service system manager, the City is responsible for obtaining in-depth knowledge about community needs, identifying and addressing service gaps, supporting collaboration among services, and ensuring that child care is accessible, responsive, affordable, and high quality.
