Offer input on Meadowcrest and Madoma parks' plans

The City of Kingston will present concepts for proposed improvements to Meadowcrest and Madoma parks at a public meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 20 at Holy Name Elementary School, 370 Kingston Mills Rd. (in the gymnasium).

It is proposed that the two former community centres sites be converted into park space with these improvements:

  • The proposed concept for Madoma Park includes a new pathway, a picnic area and refurbished combination tennis and basketball courts.
  • The proposed concept for Meadowcrest Park includes pathways and a picnic area, new swings and a new basketball court.
