Offer input on parking and bench locations on reconstructed Princess Street

Where should car parking, bike parking and benches go on reconstructed Princess Street between Clergy and Division? Offer your input at by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

"We'd like to hear from you about the proposed changes to on-street parking, accessible parking spaces and benches on the section of Princess Street now under reconstruction," says Sheila Kidd, director transportation services. "If you frequent this part of Princess, please offer us feedback."

Like other parts of Princess Street that have benefitted from reconstruction in recent years, these new amenities will be done in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Design of Public Spaces Standards.

Your input will help determine where on-street parking and benches go on the newly constructed portions of Princess Street and side streets – Barrie (from Princess to Queen) and Division (from Brock to Colborne).  More details on the reconstruction can be found at
