null Offer input on proposed designs for new park on Jade Avenue
February 22, 2019 –
The City of Kingston is seeking feedback on proposed designs for a new park on Jade Avenue near the top of the Midland Park subdivision. Come offer your input an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at the INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.
"This is an exciting opportunity to help shape this brand new green play space for this neighbourhood," says Neal Unsworth, manager, parks development.
Construction on this new 1.5 acre park in the Loyalist-Cataraqui District is expected to start this summer. Proposed designs for the site include trees, an open lawn area, playground, pathway and seating.
