null Offer input on washroom/change facility improvements at Grass Creek Park
April 18, 2018 -
The City is planning an upgrade of the washroom and change building in Grass Creek Park. The project will involve the reuse of a post and beam structure that once sheltered the Phoebe antique steam launch exhibit.
Residents are invited to offer input on draft design concepts:
- At an open house from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 at the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum, 2993 Highway 2 East. Children are welcome to attend and activity bags with colouring books, crayons and activities will be available.
- By completing an online survey at GetInvolved.CityofKingston.ca by Thursday, May 17 at 4:30 p.m.
For any accessibility feedback related to the project please contact the Laurie Paquin at firstname.lastname@example.org (in accordance with Ontario Regulation 191/11)
Improving the Grass Creek Park washrooms and change facilities was identified as a high priority in the Waterfront Master Plan. The Pittsburgh Community Benefit Fund contributed $499,000 toward the improvements.
Construction of the washroom and change room facility is slated for 2018 and 2019. For more information on this project see: www.CityofKingston.ca/Projects.
