The City of Kingston is proposing applications for Official Plan amendment, Zoning Bylaw amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision for a development consisting of two residential blocks, the westerly extension of MacCauley Street to Wilson Street, and the re-design and re-configuration of Shannon Park. The proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment requests to change the zoning of the proposed residential blocks to permit low to medium density residential uses. The zones of eastern portion of the site are proposed to be amended to a site-specific general recreation park zone, matching the existing zone of Shannon Park.
