3566 Princess St. – S.S.B. Associates Incorporated – D12-012-2013 & D14-049-2013

Applications for Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit a residential subdivision consisting of 37 single-detached dwelling units, a stormwater management
block and extension of Sproule Street.

Applications for Official Plan amendment and Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit a site-specific policy area in the Official Plan and to amend the Zoning Bylaw to permit office uses in the former Portsmouth Town Hall building.

2400 Highway 38 & 3175 Unity Rd. – Cataraqui Granite Co., Mark Tomlinson – D09-035-2015 & D14-136-2015

Applications for Official Plan amendment and Zoning Bylaw amendment to expand a granite business currently operating at 2400 Highway 38. To facilitate the additional space, a lot addition is proposed which would result in the severance of approximately 0.627 hectares of land from 3175 Unity Rd. to be added to 2400 Highway 38. The applicant is requesting an amendment to the Official Plan to redesignate the proposed lot addition as Rural Industrial to ensure consistency with the designation at 2400 Highway 38, permitting the existing use to expand. An amendment to the Zoning Bylaw is being sought to rezone 2400 Highway 38 together with the lot addition to a site-specific Light Industrial Zone ‘M2' to recognize the existing legal non-conforming granite business.

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit the development of the eastern portion of the property which will consist of four commercial buildings including a gas station on
the southeast corner of the site, an oil-change facility, a restaurant and a financial institution with a drive-thru lane along Midland Avenue.

607-645 Gardiners Rd. - 1745100 Ontario Limited – D14-139-2015

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to replace the current Special Local Commercial ‘C1-4' Zone in Zoning Bylaw Number 76- 26, with a Special General Commercial ‘C2' Zone.

630 Princess St. – Patry Inc. – D11-017-2013

The purpose of this report is to provide information on a settlement regarding an appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board regarding Bylaw Number 2010-231 for the property located at 630 Princess St. This report includes an overview of the accepted settlement. In addition, this report contains a recommendation regarding the site plan control application for 630 Princess St. that was submitted in support of the proposed zoning.

Amendment to the Parkland Dedication Bylaw – City of Kingston

A proposal to amend the Parkland Dedication Bylaw, Bylaw 2013-107. There are four main themes that the proposed amendments address: heritage developments, secondary suites, buffer land conveyance and private open space easements.

Information regarding the above can be viewed at planning, building and licensing services, 1211 John Counter Blvd., during normal office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
