The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

607 and 645 Gardiners Rd. – 1745100 Ontario Limited – D14-139-2015

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to amend the zoning bylaw to replace the current Special Local Commercial 'C1-4' Zone in Zoning Bylaw Number 76-26, with a Special General Commercial 'C2' Zone. In addition to expanding the range of uses through the proposed zone change, the proposed amendment seeks to incorporate relief from the minimum landscaped open space requirement for 645 Gardiners Rd.

530 Maple Lawn Dr. – M & E Holdings Inc. – D09-038-2015 & D14-144-2015

The purpose of the amendments are technical in nature to correct an administrative oversight with respect to the bylaw text and mapping schedules that accompanied Council's original approval of Bylaw Numbers 2014-190 and 2014-191 on Nov. 18, 2014 (Clause 2 of Report Number 112, received from the planning committee). These changes do not change the purpose or intent of the original proposal that was presented to council and the community during the original approval process. Staffs are recommending to repeal Bylaw Numbers 2014-190 and 2014-191 and to replace them in accordance with the draft bylaws and schedules attached to this report.

809-829 Development Dr. – Bayridge Co-operative Development Corporation – D14-046-2013

The purpose of the application is to permit the construction of a multiple residential development in the north east portion of the site consisting of eight structures with a total of 123 units and a club-house. Each structure is proposed to have up to a maximum of 16 units. The applicant is requesting permission to rezone the two properties to place both in a site specific Residential Type 4 'R4' Zone, as well as an Open Space 'OS' Zone, a site specific Open Space 'OS' Zone and a site specific 'EPA' Zone.

823 Highway 15 – Golden Mile Property Corp. – D09-032-2015 & D14-124-2015

Applications for Official Plan amendment and Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit the development of a new commercial building with an area of approximately 980 square metres on the subject property. The planned tenant for this building is Shoppers Drug Mart. The applicant is requesting an amendment to the Official Plan to re-designate the property as Neighbourhood Commercial to permit the proposed commercial use. An amendment to the Zoning Bylaw is being sought to rezone the property to a site specific General Commercial Zone 'C' and to seek relief from multiple zoning provisions.
