The City of Kingston Planning Committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meetings

371 Division St. – 1881430 Ontario Inc. – D14-089-2014

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment to add eight residential units onto the property, consisting of a two residential unit building fronting onto Division Street and a set of three stacked townhouses with two-residential units per townhouse. The existing house would remain. The residential buildings are proposed to be severed into six separate parcels.

128-136 Ontario St. and 15 Earl St. – D14-079-2014

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment to permit the redevelopment of the existing heritage building located at 128-136 Ontario St. through the addition of five residential units to the existing mixed use commercial residential structure for a total of 6 residential units. At the same time, the rezoning of 15 Earl Street will provide flexibility for the future development of the existing parking lot.

CANCELLED - Zoning Bylaw Amendments Bylaw 76-26 (Former Township of Kingston) and Bylaw 97-102 (Cataraqui North former Township of Kingston) – City of Kingston – D14-039-2014

The Public Meeting that was scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, with regard to the above noted application, has been postponed to a future meeting. Notice of the public meeting will be re-advertised when a date has been established.

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment to establish a site-specific zone to permit the redevelopment of the property into two residential units.

530 Maple Lawn Dr. – M & E Holdings Inc. – D12-017-2014, D09-014-2014 & D14-066-2014

Applications for Official Plan Amendment, Zoning Bylaw Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision to permit 5 rural estate residential lots serviced by individual private well and septic systems. The application for Official Plan Amendment proposes to amend the ‘Rural' designation to an ‘Estate Residential designation. The application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment is to include a reduction of the minimum lot area for Lots 4 and 5 and a minimum setback of 15 metres from the 1:100 year floodplain elevation.

2011 Detailed Neighbourhood Profiles - City of Kingston

This report presents a detailed update to the 2011 Neighbourhood Profiles using custom data supplied by Statistics Canada. This report also highlights the limitations of using the National Household Survey (NHS) data at the neighbourhood level.

Pending and Committed Residential Development Supply – City of Kingston – D25-003-2014

Defferred - The purpose of this information report is to update the inventory of residential dwelling units anticipated from development applications. The inventory is based on 68 applications submitted prior to June 30, 2014. The applications include plans of subdivisions, site plans, rezonings and Secondary Plans which have either been approved and are committed for development or are pending review and potential development approval.

Information regarding the above can be viewed at the Planning and Development Department, 1211 John Counter Blvd., during normal office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
