The City of Kingston Planning Committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Forum for Site Plan Control application to construct a 73 metre (240 foot) self-supporting communications tower to be constructed at the west side of Fire Station Number 9 on property addressed as 2835 Highway #38.

50 Hamilton St. – Martin Mack Holdings Inc. – D14-083-2014

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to reduce the lot area and rear yard setback requirements so that the lot may be severed to permit the construction of a single detached residential unit with frontage on Linton Street.

4000 6th Concession – Patrick O'Connor & Ben Forman – D14-086-2014

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to facilitate a proposed new lot and retained parcel; a zone change is required to prohibit the establishment of a residential use on the retained farm lot.

Commercial Policies of the Rideau Community Secondary Plan – City of Kingston – D09-021-2014

This is a proposed City-initiated Official Plan Amendment intended to implement the recommendations of the Commercial Policy Review of the Rideau Community Secondary Plan completed in June 2014 by Sorensen Gravely Lowes Planning Associates Inc. in association with urbanMetrics Inc. The review was undertaken to address a resolution of Council from its meeting of December 3, 2013. The proposed amendment applies to the geographic area of the Rideau Community Secondary Plan.

Information regarding the above can be viewed at the Planning and Development Department, 1211 John Counter Blvd., during normal office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
