The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

18 & 51-57 Queen St. & 282 Ontario St. – Homestead Land Holdings Ltd. – D09-039-2015 & D14-146-2015

Applications for Official Plan amendment and Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit the development of two 21-storey buildings, both with a podium and tower design. It is proposed that there will be a total of 380 residential units, with associated parking, bicycle parking and apartment complex amenities. A municipal parking garage is proposed on the eastern portion of the podium at 51-57 Queen St., and commercial space is proposed along the King Street frontage at 18 Queen St. and within the podium.

169 Union St. – David Craig – D14-145-2015

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit a site-specific Neighbourhood Commercial Zone ‘C1' to allow the ground floor of the building to be used as a professional dentist office and the second and third floors of the building to be used for residential purposes.

358 Victoria St. – Heather Cirella - D14-073-2015

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit a second residential dwelling unit within the existing one-family dwelling. The second dwelling unit proposed in the basement (cellar) would have a floor area of approximately 137 square metres with four (4) bedrooms, a living room, utility room, kitchen and two bathrooms, occupying approximately 43 per cent of the total gross floor area. There are no additions or other exterior changes proposed to the existing building.

462 Barrie St. – Anne Marie Lee – D14-074-2015

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit a third residential dwelling unit within the existing two-unit semi-detached dwelling by reconfiguring the interior to establish three self-contained one-bedroom residential dwelling units. There are no additions or other exterior changes proposed to the existing building.
