139 William St. – D13-003-2018

Minor variance to reduce the front-yard setback to facilitate construction of a new covered porch and front steps at the front of the existing dwelling.

167 King St. East – D13-062-2017

Minor variance to recognize three residential units in the existing structure, with variances required to maximum residential density, minimum landscaped open space and the minimum parking-space length dimension. No alterations are proposed to the existing two-and-a-half storey dwelling on the property.

955 McKnight Rd. – D13-063-2017

Minor variance to allow construction of a 51 square-metre deck between the back of an existing house and the St. Lawrence River. The proposal will increase the area of a deck attached to the existing house. The proposal requires a variance for to reduce the minimum Water Setback distance from 15 m to 5.5 m, being a reduction of 9.5 m.

73 John St. – D13-004-2018

Minor variance to reduce the side-yard and rear-yard setbacks to facilitate reconstruction of the existing detached garage in the northwest corner of the subject property. The footprint of the existing detached garage is not proposed to change.

87-89 Mowat Ave. – D10-063-2017, D13-064-2017 & D13-064-2017

Consent application (D10-063-2017) to sever a 233 square metre parcel of land with 11.61 metres of road frontage on Mowat Avenue to be developed with a single-family dwelling (87 Mowat Avenue) abutting the dwelling at 89 Mowat Avenue. Minor variance (D10-064-2017) is requested to reduce the minimum lot area minimum lot width and reduce the minimum front-yard and interior side-yard setbacks for the proposed addition.

The retained 199 square metre parcel of land will have 9.9 metres of road frontage on Mowat Avenue and 20.13 metres of road frontage on Grange Street containing the existing dwelling municipally addressed as 89 Mowat Avenue. Minor variance (D10-065-2017) is requested to reduce the minimum lot area, reduce the minimum lot width and reduce the minimum front-yard and interior side-yard setbacks to recognize the location of the existing dwelling.

68 Hillcrest Ave. – D13-067-2017

Minor variance to construct a detached garage in the rear yard. There is a proposed increase of the accessory building maximum height from 4.6m to 5.8m and a proposed increase of the maximum lot coverage for accessory buildings from 10 to 11 per cent.
