Public Invited to Information Session on Service Improvement Plan

May 29, 2013 -

The City of Kingston is streamlining its development review process and wants to hear from members of the public. A public information session will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Memorial Hall, City Hall.

"We want to update the public on our Service Improvement Plan and how the work being done will benefit the community," says Grant Bain, Director of Planning and Development. "We also want to hear what the public thinks about our work so far. This meeting is an opportunity for you to ask questions of and provide feedback to staff of the Planning and Development and Building and Licensing departments."

The Service Improvement Plan has been created following the results of the Mayor's Task Force on Development.

At the meeting there will also be a short presentation outlining changes made to the City's website to enhance information related to Planning and Development and Building processes.
