null Public invited to Victoria Day fireworks at Lake Ontario Park

May 12, 2014 -

Join your friends and neighbours for Victoria Day festivities – including fireworks – in Lake Ontario Park on May 19

The City is offering live entertainment in the park on Victoria Day Monday, starting at 1:30 p.m. (see May 19 on the for details).  Bring your lawn chair and a picnic lunch – or plan to enjoy food from invited vendors.  The fireworks show starts at approximately 9 p.m.

"For many Kingstonians fireworks at Lake Ontario Park are a fond memory," said Mayor Mark Gerretsen. "It's great to see this tradition restored at the beautifully revitalized park during Victoria Day weekend with the addition of live entertainment programming for the whole family to enjoy throughout the afternoon."
