The City of Kingston Planning Committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meetings

547 Gardiners Rd. – Bel-Con Design Builder. – D14-056-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to decrease the required setback to a railway right-of-way and remove the holding zone provision. The applicant is proposing to construct a car service centre closest to Gardiner's Road and two additional commercial buildings to the west.

16 James St. – Mary Ellen McGill – D14-057-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to recognize the two unit dwelling in the existing structure. Two dwelling units are permitted within the current zone, however, an amendment is required to reduce the minimum required lot area and to address the stacked design of the
existing parking area.

10-12 Collingwood St. – Santo Mazzeo – D14-050-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to permit a third unit, the applicant is proposing to reconfigure the interior to re-establish the third unit within the existing structure.

218 University Ave. – Rebekka Young – D14-052-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to convert a single family dwelling to include a second dwelling unit by constructing an addition to the rear of the dwelling unit to and renovate the existing structure. The proposal consists of two, 4 bedroom units with one occupying the
second floor and the other occupying the ground floor. The applicant is requesting to reduce the minimum lot area requirement to permit a second unit.

Pending and Committed Residential Development Supply - June 30, 2013 to December 31, 2013

The purpose of this report is to provide information on the inventory of potential residential dwelling units in the urban area from June 30 to December 31, 2013. This residential inventory includes Secondary Plans, plans of subdivision and site plan applications. The historic residential building permit activity from the end of 2004 to the end of 2013 has also been updated.

Information regarding the above can be viewed at the Planning and Development Department, 1211 John Counter Blvd., during normal office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
