The City of Kingston Planning Committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meetings

845 Gardiners Rd. – CJM Property Management. – D14-0 065-2014

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to request to rezone the subject property to permit the construction of an 18-storey, 167 dwelling-unit apartment building with 209 parking spaces.


(Items for Discussion/Recommendation):

1006 Portsmouth Ave. – Gary Lupton – D14-051-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment. The subject property contains two legal dwelling units, and a third illegal unit. The applicant is requesting permission to rezone the property to recognize the three dwellings units and to permit parking in a tandem arrangement.

16 James St. – Mary Ellen McGill – D14-057-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to allow a second unit within the existing structure. Two dwelling units are permitted within the current zone; however, an amendment is required to reduce the minimum required lot area.

350 Wellington St. – Frontenac Condominium 59 – D07-002-2013

Application for Amending Condominium Agreement and Amending Condominium Description and Declaration to recognize two additional parking spaces at 350 Wellington Street, subject to the Owner entering into a Amending Condominium Agreement with the City.
