The City of Kingston Planning Committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

188 Churchill St. – Andrew Keilty – D14-071-2014

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to rezone the subject property to permit two dwelling units. Two dwelling units are permitted within the current zone; however, an amendment is required to reduce the minimum required lot area and to provide relief for building height and lot coverage.

48 Colborne St. – Mark Peabody Custom Builders – D14-078-2014

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to permit the single family dwelling unit which is defined as being a multiple family dwelling (row house) as per the Zoning By-Law, to construct a 16.7 square metre, second storey addition over an existing one storey addition at the rear of the dwelling unit and a 8.54 square metre one storey addition along the east side of the dwelling within the rear yard. No new units or bedrooms are proposed through this application.

824 John Counter Blvd. – Ontario Public Employees Union – D09-016-2014 and D14-072-2014

Applications for Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-Law Amendment to permit an office use for the Ontario Public Service Employees Union. The applicant is requesting to amend the Official Plan designation to a site specific ‘General Industrial' designation, and to amend the Zoning By-Law Number 8499, as amended to permit the additional proposed use.

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to permit two entrance additions on the Hickson Avenue frontage of the existing building.

2011 Neighbourhood Profiles Update

This is an information report on the update to the City of Kingston Neighbourhood Profiles based on the 2011 Census data. The neighbourhood profiles include neighbourhood maps, population and dwelling unit counts.

Applications for Zoning By-Law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision are being recommended to Planning Committee for the creation of three (3) multiple family residential blocks, a local road, an Open Space Block and two (2) Park Blocks.
