221 Queen St., 151, 153, 157 Clergy Street, 30- 34 Colborne St. –BPE Developments – D14-047-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment for the purpose of redeveloping a number of lots bounded by Queen Street, Clergy Street and Colborne Street. The applicant is proposing to repurpose an existing church and three dwellings for the development of a total of 37 dwelling units with below grade parking.

165,167,169-171 Wellington St.– BPE Developments – D14-069-2014

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to incorporate additional floors for a total of 6 storeys. The development is proposed to be comprised of a mixed use building with 26 residential units and 660m² of commercial space on the ground floor. Zoning relief is sought for amenity space; children's play area, off-street parking, density, and angular plane provisions.

495-513 Frontenac St. - Jay Patry Enterprises – D14-055-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to construct a four and a half storey residential
development containing 71 units. The multiple family residential use is currently permitted on the subject lands. The proposed amendments include a reduction in the rear yard setback, side yard setback, aggregate side yard, front yard setback, amenity area, number of parking spaces, size of parking spaces, elimination of the play space requirement and an increase to the maximum density and lot occupancy.

401-403 Barrie St. – BPE Developments – D14-053-2013

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to permit three dwelling units within the existing structure, along with a reduction in certain parking provisions and amenity space provisions.

Urban Residential Growth and Density Study Update 2011-2013

This information report provides an update to the City of Kingston, 2010 Urban Residential Growth and Density Study for the years 2011 to 2013. The study document, identifies 29 urban residential areas in the City, indicates the increase in the numbers of dwelling units, residential land area, as well as the net residential density each year for the period between 2010 and 2013.

Information regarding the above can be viewed at the Planning and Development Department, 1211 John Counter Boulevard, during normal office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
