Applications for Official Plan amendment and zoning bylaw amendment to permit a change in the location of the ‘district commercial designation' and to change the zoning on a portion of lands within an approved draft plan of subdivision to permit additional residential lots.

Central Accommodation Review – City of Kingston - Deferred

This report has been submitted as a component of the City's central accommodation review (CAR). The report provides a summary of CAR-related projects that have been completed to date as well as those currently underway, and also includes a discussion of proactive planning approaches recommended by staff including an intensification study.

53-55 West St. – Jack & Helen Cooper – D14-111-2015

Application for zoning bylaw amendment to permit the conversion of the existing three unit multiple residential dwelling into two semi-detached dwellings, each dwelling contained within its respective lot. The application seeks to permit a second residential unit, (secondary suite) within the semidetached dwelling located at 55 West St. As well the application seeks to
permit the construction of a two-storey addition on the south side of the structure at 53 West Side and a one-storey addition on rear of the structure at 55 West St. Currently, the two properties, 53 and 55 West St., contain three (3) residential dwelling units, two (2) of which occupy area across both properties. The application will not result in an increase in the number of dwelling units on the site.
