The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meeting

1821 Bur Brook Rd. – Clark Consulting Services - D14-037-2016

Application for zoning bylaw amendment to allow an existing 283 square metre building to be used for a fencing contractor business. The subject property is designated Rural and Environmental Protection Area in the Official Plan and is currently zoned ‘A1' in Zoning Bylaw Number 76-26. A Special ‘A1' zone is proposed to recognize and limit the scale of the additional use.

22 Davidson St. – Debbie Radloff-Gabriel – D14-040-2016

Application for zoning bylaw amendment to allow a bedroom in the cellar. A cellar is defined in Zoning Bylaw Number 8499 as a portion of the building where more than 50 per cent of the floor-to-ceiling height is below grade. Habitation in the cellar is prohibited in Zoning Bylaw Number 8499.  A site-specific zone recommends relief from habitation in the cellar in order to facilitate the development of a bedroom in the cellar.
