The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meeting

189 King St. West – Gervan & Associates – D14-021-2019

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment  to construct a two-storey addition off the north elevation of the existing building  and permit a medical clinic on the ground floor, with three residential units above.

700 Gardiners Rd. – Taggart (Gardiners) Corporation – D14-020-2019

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment to establish a new R2-51-H  R3-34 zones to decrease the maximum permitted height on Blocks 230 and 231 and Lots 124-138 of the West Village Subdivision. The purpose of the proposed height provision amendments is  to implement recommendations of a site-specific environmental noise assessment. The application also seeks to remove sight triangle and corner lot provisions which are not applicable to the subject blocks and lots.

60 Collingwood St. – John Hawes & FoTenn Consultants Inc. – D14-009-2019

Application for a Zoning Bylaw Amendment to rezone the property at 60 Collingwood Street to a site-specific ‘A.566' zone to permit the three existing dwelling units within the existing residential structure.

809 & 847 Development Dr. – IBI Group – D14-034-2018

Application for zoning bylaw amendment to rezone the subject property to support a redevelopment proposal consisting of a 4-storey residential apartment with 158 dwelling units, and six, 3-storey townhouses with 18 dwelling units.

16 Grange St. – AAP Developments – D14-039-2018

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment to develop the now vacant property with a 2-storey building containing a total of 5 dwelling units. Two 2 bedroom units are proposed on each level of the building, except for the basement, which is proposed to contain one dwelling unit plus amenity space. A driveway is provided along the east property line to access the parking spaces located in the rear yard. A total of five parking spaces are provided at the rear of the property including one accessible parking space. Both indoor and outdoor communal amenity spaces are also provided on-site.

Central Kingston Growth Strategy – City of Kingston

The purpose of this report is to provide an update on the status of the Central Kingston Growth Strategy. The study was initiated in response to Council's direction and Report Number 17-139 to undertake a review of the land use policies and regulations regarding residential infill and intensification in the central area of the city and provide specific recommendations to guide the future of this area.
