The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meeting

6675 Hwy 15 – IBI Group – D14-038-2018

Application for zoning bylaw amendment to permit an expansion of the existing wollastonite mining operation located in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands to adjacent lands within the City of Kingston. The applicant is requesting a site-specific Extractive Industrial ‘MX-X' zone to facilitate the proposal.

339 Select Dr. – IBI Group – D35-005-2018

Application for zoning by-law amendment, draft plan of subdivision, draft plan of condominium to develop 3 vacant properties with a residential subdivision consisting of a 51-unit townhouse development which consists of 8 separate blocks of townhouses, 6 of which are 3-storeys in height and 2 of the blocks are 2-storeys in height. Two of the 3-storey blocks are proposed to be configured as "back-to-back" townhouses, where there are residential entrances to separate units on both sides of the block. The remainder of the townhouse blocks are proposed to be traditional townhouse units, with the front door on one side the rear yard on the opposite side of the block. These units are proposed with front attached garages and driveways, and are accessed through a private road. A private parkette is also being proposed.

189 Montreal St. – Marco DiPietrantonio – D14-035-2018

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to demolish the existing single-detached dwelling on the subject property and sever it into two new lots in order to develop each new lot with a 3-unit residential building for a total of 6 dwelling units on the subject property. The proposed buildings are 2.5-storeys in height, with shared rooftop amenity space on a portion of the rooftop for occupants of each building and additional amenity space at grade for each building. Parking is also proposed to be located at the rear of each building with a shared driveway for vehicular access located between the two buildings.

480 Albert St. – FoTenn Consultants Inc. – D14036-2018

Application for Zoning Bylaw Amendment to rezone the subject property to a site-specific One-Family dwelling and two-family ‘A' zone to permit a second residential unit at the dwelling known as 480 Albert St. and seek relief from multiple performance standards in Zoning Bylaw Number 8499 which will include maximum permitted building depth, projections in yards, minimum front yard setback, maximum parking area and minimum side yard setback for accessory building.

Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment to increase the required maximum lot coverage and reduce the required minimum rear yard setback.

70 Barbara Ave. – Josselyn Engineering Inc. – D11-032-2017

Application for Site Plan Control has been submitted to facilitate the intensification of the site through the construction of 7 townhouse blocks on the subject property. This Site Plan Control application is associated with related Zoning Bylaw Amendment application (City File Number: D14-005-2016) that was approved by Council on November 1, 2016 to permit the residential development including a total of 116 residential dwelling units in the form of stacked townhomes.
