The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Residential Parking and Driveways City Wide – City of Kingston – D35-004-2019

Applications for Official Plan amendment and Zoning Bylaw amendment to provide additional opportunities for off-street parking in residential areas, with limitations, while at the same time balance the need for maintaining the streetscape and neighbourhood character. Amendments are also proposed to regulate the temporary parking and storage of recreational vehicles, watercraft and trailers in residential zones on a seasonal basis.

168 Division St. & 227 Brock St. – IBI Group – D14-031-2018

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to amend Zoning Bylaw Number 8499 to remove the existing mixed-use, two-storey building at 168 Division St. and rezone the lands to facilitate the redevelopment of the site with a six-storey, mixed-use building with commercial and residential uses. The building is proposed to have 240 square metres of commercial area at grade with 35 residential units with a total of 100 bedrooms dispersed between floors 2 through 6. Various zone provisions are proposed to be amended for this project including height, setbacks, and parking provisions. The commercial use has frontage onto both Division and Garrett streets. Bylaw 96-259 is proposed to be amended for the lands at 227 Brock St. to reduce the parking ratio for residential units, as well as parking stall dimensions and access aisle width.

685 Gardiners Rd. – FoTenn Consultants – D14-004-2019

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to add permitted uses to the existing site-specific ‘C2-51' zone such as automobile body shop use, workshop use, and accessory vehicle storage use to allow for both indoor and outdoor vehicle storage. The applicant is also seeking relief from several zone provisions including interior side yard setback (Speedy Auto Service building) and general provisions such as interior side yard setbacks for accessory building (vehicle storage building) to Zoning Bylaw Number 76-26 to allow these existing buildings into compliance with the Zoning Bylaw.

1005-1015 Terra Verde Way – New Empire Design/Build Contractors Ltd. – D07-001-2018

Application for final plan of condominium for a stacked townhouse development with a total of 22 residential units.
