The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Meeting

174 Wilson St. – Burton Courneya – D14-049-2016

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to permit a one-and-a-half (1.5) storey, semi-detached residential structure containing two (2), two-bedroom dwelling units on a 466 square metre lot. Parking is proposed to be provided in the side yards with driveways on either side of the proposed semi-detached structure. Amenity area will be provided in the front and rear yards.

311 Conacher Dr. – Nicholas Kyriacopoulos – D35-007-2016

Applications for draft plan of subdivision and condominium to create 257 townhouse lots, an internal road network; common private amenity areas; and two stormwater management ponds. The same draft plan of subdivision and condominium received approval in 2013; however, the draft approval expired in August 2016. The applicant has re-applied for approval.

671 Brock St. – Kingston Frontenac Housing Corp. – D14-038-2016

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to construct a multi-unit residential building on the southeast corner of the subject property. The proposed multi-unit residential structure is to be three storeys comprising of 29 dwelling units and a fourth storey reserved for an enclosed rooftop terrace, mechanical equipment, stair and elevator shafts. The applicant is seeking relief for a reduction in the minimum number of required parking spaces, reduction in the minimum parking space dimensions and barrier-free parking stall depth, reduced bicycle parking space dimensions, reduction in front, side and aggregate side-yard setback requirements, increased maximum lot occupancy and density. The rear portion (3,372 square metre) of the site is proposed to be rezoned to a public park, while the southwest corner (1,269 square metre) will remain zoned One and Two Family Dwelling ‘A' Zone.

735, 743 King St. West – IBI Group – D14-044-2016

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to reconfigure the existing parcel fabric to create a total of six parcels. The proposed land division includes one parcel each to accommodate the existing Church, the existing Parish Rectory, the existing Parish Hall and three other individual parcels to accommodate the future construction of single detached dwellings. The existing Church is proposed to be internally converted to accommodate an archive for the Archdiocese. Both the existing Parish Rectory and Parish Hall structures are proposed to be internally converted to accommodate residential use.
